Tokyo Ghoul 2nd season or Tokyo Ghoul Root A is a horror-drama anime. The struggle for survival between humans and ghouls. Which side is the righteousness? The question I was wondering while watching the anime. It's like reflections. The story heavily reflects our society. The first time I saw, it looked like a normal fighting anime, but then it's like you are living in the gruesome city. The plot around Ken Kaneki, a teenager who was involved in something terrible. He was a special person who is standing in the middle between the two species. The show is filled with sadness. You will see the meaning of life in different aspects.

The ending theme "Kisetsu wa Tsugitsugi Shindeiku (季節は次々死んでいく)" filled with suffering. To grieve and moan, but never to die out. How the songwriter feeling!? The scene is very beautiful, especially in the cafe. The character voice is very realistic. The character design is quite good, perfect fit for their age, but I think they should add more details, not focus on the environment too much. Stories of many characters are still lacking. Sometimes I do not know who they are, because the story progresses very quickly. I think there are many characters in the plot, and difficult to describe all of them. Tokyo Ghoul √A should have exclusive content such as special episode to tell about each character. You must watch Tokyo Ghoul if you are looking for horror or drama anime. I really enjoyed the story. Now I'm looking forward to watching the season 3.
